How Tracking The Trackers? You are watching by someone every time.

Collusion demo graph
Suppose you are sit in a restaurant with hot cup of coffee and someone is continuing watching you and tracking your every little move then you definitely go away from there. Now suppose if the tracker are still   chasing you and constantly increased every hour, every minute then what will you do, you became completely mad and shut yourself in a room of your house.
This is very rare in our practical life but very common in our web life or virtual life. When you open some particular website every time number of anonymous website track you, track your data, collecting information about yourself every single minute. Your personal information is tracking by these websites.
You can watch it with a "Collusion add-on" of your browser. This shows you a list of website which is tracking you. You can block here some website up to some extent not totally. You can also block these type of sites directly from your browser.

Steps of blocking the tracking sites for Google Chrome are:-
  • Open settings option of your chrome browser.
  • Scroll down and click on Show advanced settings option.
  • Under the Privacy heading Click on Content Settings.
  • A new window will be open and check the 4th option "Block third-party cookies and site data"

What Is QR Code? How QR Code Work?

What is QR code?
QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode (or two-dimensional bar code) first designed for the automotive industry in Japan. Bar codes are optical machine-readable labels attached to items that record information related to the item. It was initially patented; however, its patent holder has chosen not to exercise those rights. Recently, the QR Code system has become popular outside the automotive industry due to its fast readability and greater storage capacity compared to standard UPC barcodes. The code consists of black modules (square dots) arranged in a square grid on a white background. The information encoded may be made up of four standardized types ("modes") of data (numeric, alphanumeric, byte / binary, Kanji) or, through supported extensions, virtually any type of data.

How QR code work?
The QR code was invented in Japan by the Toyota subsidiary Denso Wave in 1994 to track vehicles during manufacture. It was designed to allow high-speed component scanning.
Unlike the older one-dimensional barcode that was designed to be mechanically scanned by a narrow beam of light to extract data, the QR code is detected as a 2-dimensional digital image by a semiconductor image sensor and is then digitally analyzed by a programmed processor. The processor locates the three distinctive squares at the corners of the image, and uses a smaller square near the fourth corner to normalize the image for size, orientation, and angle of viewing. The small dots are then converted to binary numbers and their validity checked with an error-correcting code.
How is a QR Code different from a normal 1D UPC barcode?
Ordinarily we think of a barcode as a collection of vertical lines; 2D Barcodes or QR Codes are different in that the data is stored in both directions and can be scanned vertically OR horizontally.
Whilst a standard 1D Barcode (UPC/EAN) stores up to 30 numbers, a QR Barcode can store up to a massive 7,089! It is this massive amount of data that enables links to such things as videos, Facebook or Twitter pages or a plethora of other website pages.

How do I scan a QR Code?
If you have a smartphone like an iPhone, Android or Blackberry then there a number of different barcode scanner applications such as Red Laser, Barcode Scanner and QR Scanner that can read and decode data from a QR code. The majority of these are completely FREE, and all you have to do once you install one is to use your phone's camera to scan the barcode, which will then automatically load the encoded data for you.
You can use the following file formats when creating a QR Code
HTML Code
PNG File
Tiff File
SVG
EPS
PNG files work particularly well as they can be resized very easily, meaning that you can easily scale the QR Code depending on where you want to put it.

Main uses of QR codes
Originally designed for industrial uses, QR codes have become common in consumer advertising. Smartphone users can install an app with a QR-code scanner that can read a displayed code and convert it to a URL directing the smartphone's browser to the website of a company, store, or product associated with that code providing specific information.
Mobile operating systems
QR codes can be used in Google's Android operating system and iOS devices, as well as by using Google Goggles, 3rd party barcode scanners, and the Nintendo 3DS. The browser supports URI redirection, which allows QR codes to send metadata to existing applications on the device. mbarcode is a QR code reader for the Maemo operating system. In Apple's iOS, a QR code reader is not natively included, but more than fifty paid and free apps are available with both the ability to scan the codes and hard-link to an external URL. Windows Phone 7.5 is able to scan QR codes through the Bing search app.
URL’s
URLs aided marketing conversion rates even in the pre-smartphone era but during those years faced several limitations: ad viewers usually had to type the URL and often did not have a web browser in front of them at the moment they viewed the ad. The chances were high that they would forget to visit the site later, not bother to type a URL, or forget what URL to type. Friendly URLs decreased these risks but did not eliminate them. Some of these disadvantages to URL conversion rates are fading away now that smartphones are putting web access and voice recognition in constant reach. Thus an advert viewer need only reach for his or her phone and speak the URL, at the moment of ad contact, rather than remember to type it into a PC later.
Virtual stores
During the month of June 2011, according to one study, 14 million mobile users scanned a QR code or a barcode. Some 58% of those users scanned a QR or bar code from their homes, while 39% scanned from retail stores; 53% of the 14 million users were men between the ages of 18 and 34.[16] The use of QR codes for "virtual store" formats started in South Korea,[17] and Argentina,[18] but is currently expanding globally.[19] Big companies such as Walmart, Procter & Gamble and Woolworths have already adopted the Virtual Store concept.[20]
Code payments
QR codes can be used to store a bank account information or a credit card information, or they can be specifically designed to work with particular payment provider applications. There are several trial applications of QR code payments across the world.

QR Content
Though typically QR codes identify URLs you can essentially represent any piece of information you like, here are some examples:
Website URL
Send a text message
Send an email message
Address Book record (vcard)
Display some text on your screen
Any bit of text you like

What is favicon? How to add favicon in your website?

Favicon is a small icon shown next to site URL in the address bar. In Blogger, by default orange colored blogger icon is shown as favicon. You can make your blog stand out by using your own customized icon. Before you implement the code, you can grab or make your own favicons.

Have you ever wondered how to get those icons displayed in your address bar for your own site? If you do not know what I mean, you could possibly have a browser that does not support favicon.ico or you just have not noticed.

If you visit Google they should have a favicon in their address bar, if it's not displaying just goto this place to get the idea of what it would look like, but in your address bar, it should show just before the http part but sometimes it does not show so what I want to do is show you how you can force it to be shown on browsers that support it.

The programs we will be using:

Any graphics program will do, for this I will be using MS Paint, although I recommend a program that supports transparency, or if you have MS Visual Studio you would have a program that can make the .ico file directly without using the conversion program.

I'll be using this program Right-Click Image Converter which can convert most image formats to icons, but that's not guaranteed it'll work across all browsers, so we will create a more compatible icon. So download it and install it right now. This program is a 40 file conversion evaluation program, which is ample for what we need, if you like this program you should buy it.

And an FTP Client, I'll be using FileZilla which can be found at SourceForge

So open up MS Paint, go to Image in the menu bar, Attributes. We now change the attributes to 16 x 16 Pixels using colour, that's our limited size of our icon for the address bar.

Now you need to design your picture, I'm just using this emoticon :) but I've resized it to 16 x 16 and it's not animated, now save it as favicon.bmp either a Monochrome bitmap, if it's black and white or 16 colour bitmap (wider compatibility) or 256 colour bitmap, which only a few browsers support. If I was you, 16 colour bitmap is the better choice but you may lose some colour from the file.

Now we browse to our directory where we saved our favicon.bmp file and right-click on it and we should see right-click image converter in the menu, move your mouse over it and then select convert to .ICO this will now convert favicon.bmp to favicon.ico in the same directory if was converted. You now have the favicon.ico file you will use on your site.

We then upload favicon.ico to our root directory on our site, public_html. So do that now.

Now that we have done this, if browsers supported favicon.ico then this would be all we needed but sometimes it doesn't display. So to display it, I'm going to edit our index page. index.html to add this line in our head section of the file.

CODE

<html>
<head>
<title>Our Title</title>
<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" href="favicon.ico">
</head>

The <link> tag is how we add it to our site, displayed in the address bar. Now open your browser, and goto that page is it showing up? If it is, we are done. If not, make sure that favicon.ico is pointed to correctly, easiest way would be to change href="favicon.ico" to href="http://yoursite.com/favicon.ico", if it's not working, it might be your browser doesn't support it. Note: IE is very buggy supporting favicons, if you bookmark a page with favicons, it should show your icon in that bookmark.

How To Remote Control Your Mac/Pc Using iphone.

5 Best iPhone Apps For Controlling Your Mac or PC

With more than 140,000 apps in the iPhone App Store, finding task-specific apps or utilities for your iPhone or iPod touch (and soon iPad) isn’t the hard part. The hard part is finding the best app for the job. That’s why we’re launching a new series here at Mashable, where we raid the App Store to find the best apps for a specific purpose. First on our docket: Remote Control apps!
The long-promised convergence of television and the Internet is finally coming. More and more consumer electronics devices come with features like WiFi and built-in support for Internet services. Tools like Boxee (even with the Apple TV) and Windows 7 Media Center make it easier than ever to connect your computer to your TV to enjoy online content.
Last summer, my personal project was creating the ultimate Mac mini HTPC, and in the end, it turned out great. However, one of the most frustrating (and potentially costly) factors of the whole project was finding a viable keyboard, mouse and remote setup. Controlling a computer from the couch is different than controlling it from a desk, and even though I found a lot of great software-based remote options (and a few hardware options too), it turned out that the best (and by far, most cost-effective) method for controlling my entire setup was right in my pocket.
There are literally dozens and dozens of iPhone and iPod touch apps that can control your PC (be it Mac, Windows or Linux), but after using and testing the big players in this field (and even the small ones), I’ve found five of my favorites. Check them out and be sure to leave your own suggestions in the comments.
*A Note: With one exception, all of these apps are multi-purpose, meaning they are designed to control more than one program. For that reason, some of the XBMC or Boxee-specific apps were left off my list.

1. HippoRemote Pro 2.0

Even before HippoRemote Pro 2.0 was released, this app had a permanent spot on my iPhone’s home screen. The Pro version of the app is $4.99 and a less-feature rich basic version is available for $0.99 and a new Lite edition is available for free.
What makes this app so great is that it works with Mac, Windows and Linux, and acts not only as a viable trackpad/keyboard combo, but offers all kinds of app profiles (plus you can create your own) to control applications like Boxee, Windows Media Center 7, Hulu Desktop, your web browser, iTunes, and more. Plus, you can create macros, easily switch apps, wake up your device over LAN, and use international keyboards.
The new version of HippoRemote Pro also features an awesome Boxee plugin that adds the same kind of gesture control as the official Boxee iPhone app, as well as a built-in web browser (for checking the web, IMDB or Facebook) and Twitter client that lets you check your timeline, mentions and send tweets all from the remote application.
Check out this video the team made showing off the new HippoRemote 2.0:

At our house we use this on our Macs and Windows PCs and really, really love it.

2. Keymote

Keymote from Iced Cocoa is a Mac-only remote control that works by creating little application-specific keysets to control specific actions. Think of it like those macro-based IR remote controls (like the ones Sony used to sell before the Logitech Harmony series took over the market).
What sets Keymote apart is its built-in Keymote “store” where you can download keysets from other users to use with your favorite apps. The interface is really nice and for users who really like to have key commands and shortcuts at their fingertips, Keymote is great.

3. Remote Jr.

Remote Jr. comes in two flavors, the full version for $7.99 or the lite version for $1.99. Remote Jr. Lite doesn’t support Wake-on-LAN and doesn’t have a keyboard or trackpad/airmouse, but will give you a taste of the app itself.
More than other remote control apps, Remote Jr. really is more of a fully-functional VNC (Virtual Network Computing) app. By this I mean you can view your computer’s desktop, access specific elements or apps, and interact with them even when you aren’t in front of your computer.
Most of the remote control apps just use WiFi to connect to your components or PC, which is great — but Remote Jr. can connect over GPRS/Edge or 3G, meaning you can access and control your Mac or PC even if you aren’t at home. That’s pretty powerful. There are other VNC apps out there (namely iTeleport: Jaadu VNC) that have more features, but they also cost a lot more ($24.99) and don’t have the remote control and application switching interface built into them like Remote Jr.
A new version of Remote Jr. was just submitted to the App Store, and amongst other additions and improvements, it will bring audio streaming and Apple TV support. Apple TV support is a really great addition that I look forward to putting to use!
Check out this video to see Remote Jr. in action:
Remote Jr. is a great app for people that want a cross between a VNC app and a remote control, without having to buy both.

4. EyeTV

Elgato’s EyeTV system is an absolutely fantastic way to turn your Mac into a DVR to record, edit and playback HDTV programming from over the air or cable.
The EyeTV iPhone app is a $4.99 companion that not only lets you control your EyeTV system, but lets you set up recording, view your schedule and programming guide, and play back recording from your computer on your iPhone. You can even stream live TV over a 3G connection, a la the SlingPlayer if you use the free EyeTV Live 3G web app (the EyeTV app will let you watch live TV and record over WiFi without a problem).
When you consider the price of a SlingPlayer and the corresponding mobile app, it makes the EyeTV that much more of a bargain.

5. Snatch

Snatch is a $3.99 remote control app that is extremely similar to both HippoRemote and Keymote. You can control your Mac or PC (and Snatch supports all the way back to Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger).
It has a multi-touch trackpad, a keyboard and a remote control editor. You can edit and design the layout of your remote control, adding buttons to specific functions. You can also create a “dock” of sorts for the applications that you like to frequently access.
One feature I like about Snatch is that you can see what apps are running and easily switch between them.
Snatch has a ton of fans, and while I still defer to HippoRemote or Remote Jr., it is a worthy player in the remote control space. Before buying Snatch, you can download the free Snatch Trackpad Test app to make sure it will work with your configuration.

How To Install Oracle Database Step by Step?

Introduction:

This article is a step-by-step instruction for those who want to install Oracle 10g database on their computer. This document provides guidelines to install Oracle 10g database on Microsoft Windows environment. If you use other operating system other than Microsoft Windows, the process is not too much different from that of Microsoft Windows, since Oracle uses Oracle Universal Installer to install its software.
For more information about installing Oracle 10g under operating systems other than Microsoft Windows, please refer to this URL :

How to get Oracle 10g :

You can download Oracle 10g database from www.oracle.com. You must registered and create an account before you can download the software. The example in this document uses Oracle Database 10g Release 2 (10.2.0.1.0) for Microsoft Windows.

How to uninstall Oracle database software :

  1. Uninstall all Oracle components using the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI).
  2. Run regedit.exe and delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ SOFTWARE/ORACLE key. This contains registry entire for all Oracle products.
  3. Delete any references to Oracle services left behind in the following part of the registry: HKEY LOCAL MACHINE/ SYSTEM/ CurrentControlsSet/ Services/Ora*. It should be pretty obvious which ones relate to Oracle
  4. Reboot your machine.
  5. Delete the C: \Oracle directory, or whatever directory is your Oracle_Base.
  6. Delete the C:\Program Files \Oracle directory.
  7. Empty the contents of your c:\temp directory.
  8. Empty your recycle bin.

Installing Oracle 10g database software :

  1. Insert Oracle CD , the autorun window opens automatically. If you are installing from network or hard disk, click setup.exe in the installation folder.
  2. The Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) will run and display the Select Installation Method Window. oracle10g installation
  3. Choose Basic Installation:
Select this option to quickly install Oracle Database 10g. This method requires minimal user input. It installs the software and optionally creates a general-purpose database based on the information you provide.
For basic installation, you specify the following:
Oracle Home LocationEnter the directory in which to install the Oracle Database 10g software. You must specify a new Oracle home directory for each new installation of Oracle Database 10g. Use the default value, which is :
    c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1

Installation Type Select Enterprise Edition :
If you have limited space, select standard edition. Personal edition installs the same software as the Enterprise Edition, but supports only a single-user development and deployment environment.
Create Starter DatabaseCheck this box to create a database during installation. Oracle recommends that you create a starter database for first Create Starter Database — time installations. Choose a Global Database Name, like cs157b, or just use the default value.
Type a password. Don’t lose this password, since you will need it to connect to the database server.
    Click next
  4. The Product-Specific Prerequisite Checks window appears: Click next
    oracle10g installation
  5. A summary screen appears showing information such as your global settings, space requirements and the new products to be installed. Click Install to start the installation..
  6. The Install window appears showing installation progress.
    oracle10g_installation
  7. At the end of the installation phase, the Configuration Assistants window appears. This window lists the configuration assistants that are started automatically.
If you are creating a database, then the Database Configuration Assistant starts automatically in a separate window.
    oracle 10g installation
    oracle 10g installation
At the end of database creation, you are prompted to unlock user accounts to make the accounts accessible. The SYS and SYSTEM accounts are already unlocked. Click OK to bypass password management.
    oracle 10g installation

Note: Oracle 10g still keeps scott / tiger username and password (UID=scott, PWD=tiger) from the old version of oracle. In the old version of oracle, scott/tiger user ID is available by default, but not in oracle 10g. If you want to use scott /tiger account, you must unlock it by clicking “Password Management” at the last window.
Password Management window will appear like the one shown below. Find the user name “Scott” and uncheck the “Lock Account?” column for the user name.
  8. Your installation and database creation is now complete. The End of Installation window displays several important URLs, one of which is for Enterprise Manager.

    oracle 10g installation
  9. You can navigate to this URL in your browser and log in as the SYS user with the associated password, and connect as SYSDBA. You use Enterprise Manager to perform common database administration tasks
Note : you can access Oracle Enterprise Manager using browser by typing the URL shown above in your browser. Instead of typing the IP address, you can also access the Enterprise Manager by typing http://localhost:1158/em or “http://[yourComputerName]:1158/em” or by clicking “Start >> All Programs >> Oracle – [YourOracleHome_home1] >> Database Control – [yourOracleID]” in Windows menu.
By default, use user ID “SYSTEM”, with the password that you have chosen at the beginning of installation, to connect to database, SQLPlus, etc. If you want to use other user ID, you may create a new user .

How To Share Your Windows Internet Connection With Any WiFi Device using Virtual Router

WiFi devices do you own? I own three myself – my iPad, iPod, and Android smartphone – but only my smartphone is capable of reaching the Internet without a WiFi connection. If I didn’t own a wireless router or I was someplace that only offered a plug-in connection, I would be out of luck with these devices.
That’s not the case with Virtual Router. Virtual Router essentially turns any Windows 7 (or Windows 2008 R2) computer into a WiFi hotspot using Windows 7′s Wireless Hosted Network (Virtual WiFi) technology. It’s really simple to set up and it works well, so if you’re looking for a way to create a secure wireless hotspot using your laptop, you’re in luck.

What Is Virtual Router?

Virtual Router is a free, open source software based router for PCs running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2.
Using Virtual Router, you will be able to wirelessly share any Internet connection, whether it’s WiFi, LAN, cable modem, cellular, or even dial-up, with any WiFi-enabled device, like laptops, smartphones, netbooks, iPods, iPads, wireless printers, etc. These devices will connect to Virtual Router just like any other access point, and the connection will be secured using WPA2 encryption, which is considered the most secure type of wireless security.
Virtual Router can be used anywhere. It’s completely free, has no ads, and it does not track your web traffic. As I just mentioned, the wireless network created or shared with the program uses WPA2 encryption, which cannot be turned off. This feature is actually built into Windows 7 and 2008 R2′s wireless hosted network API to ensure maximum security.

How Does It Work?

As I mentioned earlier, Virtual Router “makes use of” Windows 7′s Wireless Hosted Network aka Virtual WiFi technology”. Okay, so what’s that?
Since 2002, Microsoft has been looking for a way to virtualize the WiFi adapter, turning a single piece of hardware and radio into virtually unlimited adapters. Years later, all that research worked its way into Windows 7′s networking capabilities.
In essence, Virtual WiFi works very similarly to how virtualization works for operating systems. There is a transparent sharing of limited hardware resources to many operating systems. Virtual WiFi, therefore, is a software layer that abstracts the wireless LAN card hardware into multiple virtual adapters. The result is an operating system that acts like you have multiple WLAN adapters working independently, even though you only have one.

How Do I Use Virtual Router?

Using the application is extremely simple. Just head over to Virtual Router’s homepage and click the Download button off to the right. Download, install, and run the application to start using it.
When you open Virtual Router up, you’ll see the first and only window you’ll need to start broadcasting a wireless signal.
share your internet connection
You can change the network’s SSID to whatever you’d like it to read when users locate the connection on their devices, and you can set the password to anything you like, as long as it’s at least 8 digits.
share your internet connection
Then all you have to do is select which connection you would like to share from the drop-down menu (Local Area Connection or Wireless Network Connection) and click the Start Virtual Router button to start your connection.
share your wifi connection
Now you should be able to see your newly created connection on your WiFi devices. Just type in the password you set and you will officially be connected to the Internet.
For such a simple program, Virtual Router really comes in handy at times. I was very impressed with how easy it was to use and how well it worked. What do you think of this application?
